Ever had a bad day? A bad week? Or maybe the past year, as a whole, wasn’t all that great.
Fortunately, as this quote by Christine Mason Miller suggests, at any moment in the day, week, month, year–you have a chance to turn your life around. You have the power to say, “This is not how the story is going to end.”
But sometimes it feels like there isn’t much you can do to make the week, month, or year better. However, you can always try to make it a great day and go from there–one day at a time. And if the day is too difficult to make better, you can take things one moment at a time. For instance, at any given moment, you can say, This is not how the morning, afternoon, or evening is going to end. And if the moment feels too difficult to change for the better, perhaps the way you perceive it can change with some mindful reflection.
