“Don’t quit yet. The worst moments are usually followed by the most beautiful silver linings. You have to stay strong. Remember to keep your head up and remain hopeful.”
If you look up at a thick cloud directly blocking the sun, you might notice it appears darker while the sun is only visible around its borders, forming a bright silver-looking line. A similar phenomenon happens in life.
Sometimes bad circumstances block the light–or good–in your life. In those moments, your life may feel a bit dark like a sun-blocking cloud. However, as this quote (author unknown) reminds us, “the worst moments are usually followed by the most beautiful silver linings.” So try not to be too distracted by the dark clouds obscuring your light. Remember, the light–the good–is still there but mostly hidden. Finding it means finding hope and consolation in the midst of bad circumstances. That is life’s silver lining.
